Can I fit a headboard to a kingsize metal bedstead?
It already has a decorative metal headboard and footboard (headboard cannot be removed, it is part of the frame), but I was wondering if I could get some sort of cushioned headboard or some other sort of cushion which I could attach to the metal headboard to make it comfy for sitting up against?
If so, any idea where I can get something like this?
I once saw an item that might work for you. It was a head board made like two very large pillows that were well padded/stuffed and was buttoned through with those large upholstery type padded buttons to hold the stuffing in place. The other things that they had was substantial loops on the top edge to allow fitting to a curtain pole set on the wall at the correct height to hold it in place. The material requires to be strong like upholstery but I can't see why a curtain shop or upholstery shop couldn't make it. Anyone who can sew could run this up at home. Hope this gives you an idea.
