IS a pretty "throw" for a bed or couch + a decorative pillow good enough for a couple's xmas gift?

Hello, twas thinking of shopping at T.J. Max and/or Marshall's for a blanket throw and a classy lil' decorative pillow for a couple in the family.
Does this sound good for someone who already has it all [almost] except for true happiness?
